This role will support Bridge and Privy controls plus provide critical inputs for policy governance and Financial Crimes Risk Assessment (FCRA) across Stripe entities.

You will combine financial crimes controls expertise with strong program management, using AI responsibly to improve the quality, consistency, and scalability of our work. The role will support key financial crimes priorities, including evolving requirements related to the Travel Rule.

What you’ll do

· Ensure Bridge and Privy controls are appropriately designed, evidenced, governed, and implemented.

· Drive relevant financial crimes policy governance across Stripe entities, including policy development, approvals, and change management.

· Provide critical inputs for the Financial Crimes Risk Assessment across Stripe entities, including planning, stakeholder coordination, documentation, governance, and reporting.

· Translate financial crimes regulatory and risk requirements into clear, practical controls, policies, risk assessments, and operating processes.

· Partner with Financial Crimes, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Internal Audit to identify gaps, manage issues, and improve the control environment.

· Identify responsible AI and automation opportunities across controls, policy, and risk-assessment work including document review, obligation mapping, evidence triage, change analysis, and trend reporting.

· Ensure AI-enabled workflows retain appropriate human oversight, data protection, accountability, and auditability.

What we’re looking for

· At least 10 years of experience in financial crimes compliance, risk, internal controls, audit, or a related field in regulated financial services.

· Experience with financial crimes risk assessments, control design or testing, policy governance, issue management, or audit readiness.

· Familiarity with financial crimes requirements, ideally including AML, sanctions, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, and/or the Travel Rule.

· Strong interest in or experience using AI and automation to improve compliance, controls, risk, or operational workflows responsibly.
