As part of the team, we are seeking a Contract Manager to join us.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the commercial and contractual management of all Superstructure and Precast packages. Manage procurement strategy, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and award of major subcontract packages.
· Administer subcontract agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
· Assess variations, claims, extensions of time, and commercial risks.
· Monitor subcontractor performance against cost, programme, quality, and contractual obligations. Lead commercial negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
· Develop and maintain package budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
· Support monthly internal and client reporting requirements.
· Identify and implement commercial opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
· Coordinate with construction, engineering, and project controls teams to manage package delivery.
· Support the resolution of disputes and contractual issues.
Requirements:
· Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or related discipline.
· 8–15 years' experience in contract administration and commercial management.
· Previous experience managing major structural, precast, or concrete packages on large infrastructure or building projects.
· Strong understanding of subcontract procurement and contract management.
· Experience with claims, variations, and commercial negotiations.
· Knowledge of Australian construction contracts.
· Experience in Joint Venture environments is desirable.
· Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
